International Shipping
International Insurance Claims
 
As of November 23rd. 2009 Vampfangs insures all international packages through Interapptive insurance. In the unlikely event that your package gets lost or damaged travelling through the international postal route we got you covered! Here is a list of protocols that need to be followed if you need to make a claim.

1) Interapptive will accept an international insurance claim 45 days after the package has shipped from our facility in Gloucester, Ma.

2) Once 45 days goes by you need to contact a customer service rep by filling out a support ticket here. Make sure to include your full name and order number.

3) Fill out the claims form located here and send it to the customer service representitive you were working with in the previous step.

4) Once the claim has been granted through Interapptive we will issue you a refund.  

What's Covered and what's not

Interapptive covers the purchase price of the items only. They do not cover the postage. If you file a claim you will only receive a refund for the purchase price of the items.

Insurance claims from international shipments can only be made 45 days after the item has shipped. This gives the postal system a chance to locate it before the insurance claim is filed. Interapptive will only cover physical damages from shipping. It does not cover items that may have a manufacturers defect.

Claims on damage may require you ship back the items to be inspected before a claim is granted. Insurance does not pay for return postage.
International Tracking
  Vampfangs ships all of our products through the USPS ( United States Postal Service ) or UPS. International customers are given a variety of shipping methods on our website. They include USPS Airmail, USPS Priority Mail and USPS Express Mail. Please note that the USPS does NOT offer any form of tracking on Airmail and Priority mail to international destinations. If you choose one of these two shipping methods you will be unable to track your package. USPS Express is the only method of shipping to international customers that is trackable.

USPS International Shipping Contract:

By purchasing products from our website you agree to our shipping contract. Liability for international packages passes to the customer once the package is given to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost/damaged international packages. Once the package leaves the USA risk of loss passes to the customer as we cannot control foreign postal services. We do not offer any international package insurance with USPS packages. WE ARE DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT THIS! If you choose a non secure method of shipping and the package gets lost in international transit YOU WILL NOT get a refund or replacement.

New International Shipping Policy Effective Nov. 23rd, 2009

Starting in November we are insuring all international packages through Interapptive. We will insure the package for the paid value of the goods. In order to properly insure your international package we are required to post on the customs declaration for the value you paid for your items. Please keep in mind that we are not responsible for any customs of duty charges your country may charge you for delivering your package. Please note that these fees have nothing to do with us. It's an import fee charged to you from your country.

What is the currency of your website?
  Vampfangs displays all item pricing in US currency.
Do you ship to my country?
  Please create an account by clicking the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. During signup we'll ask for your shipping address details including country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot ship to your country at this time.

Please note: We do ship to the UK. But we require you choose your actual country ( England, Wales, Ireland etc.. ). The USPS does not recognize UK as a country.
What are my payment choices?
  During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.

International Payment Options: All Major Credit Cards, Paypal in USA funds

We do not accept personal checks, money orders or international currency of any kind.
When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?
  Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information.  Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices. We will ship your order shortly after we receive payment from you.
What is the return policy?
  Due to health reasons we do not accept returns on any dental fangs, contact lenses or make-up. Returns for all other items are only accepted within 7 days of receipt, package must be unopened and with shrink-wrap intact. Subject to a 20% or $4.00 restocking fee (whichever is higher).

Contact Lens Notice:

Contact lenses arrive in a sealed clear glass vial or clear blister pack.. It is your responsibility to check the lenses for tears or defects BEFORE opening the seal on the lenses. Once the lens seal is broken there are no returns allowed due to health reasons. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Once the seal on the vials has been opened they cannot be returned for any reason. So we STRONGLY advise spending time examining them borefore the seal is broken. In some occassions the lenses may ship blister packed. They still offer a see through area to examine the lenses. If you find there is a defect in the lens and the seal is not broken you must contact customer service asap to make arrangement for replacements. By ordering contact lenses from us you agree to these terms and conditions.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. If making a return you MUST contact support for authorization before mailing back an item. Failure to do so will result in your return not being processed.
