FDA now considers all contact lens a medical device (this includes plano lenses) and can only be sold with the involvement of a Eye Care Professional.
Let's clarify exactly what the law is
and how it effects you:
Everyone's eyes are different. Correct? The law states that you must have a contact lens fitting on file with an eye care professional within the past year even if you do not need prescription lenses. This ensures that our stock theatrical lenses will fit you properly and that you have been instructed on how to care for contact lenses. C'mon guys... these are your EYES! So many things... bad, evil, things can happen to your vision if you wear lenses that don't fit properly or if you don't clean and care for them properly!!! Imagine buying a pair of shoes that were 3 sizes too small... and wearing them for an entire month! You could wreck your feet! Well, multiply that by 1000 and that's what it's like wearing contact lenses that don't fit!!
Even if you do not have an eye doctor you can still go and get a contact lens fitting! Even some Wal-Mart locations have a vision center and you can get a lens fitting for under $50 in most cases! This fitting is good for an entire year!
Remember. You MUST complete the contact info for your eye care professional! If any information is incorrect (especially the FAX number) your order will be cancelled. If you do not know the fax number CALL AND GET IT. If we do not have a valid fax number we cannot verify your lenses and your entire order will be cancelled. We cannot stress this enough!

We realize there are places on the internet where you can buy lenses at dirt cheap prices. But these lenses, more often than not, are NOT FDA approved or regulated for safety. We have found some companies selling lenses that can actually be toxic to your eyes! Vampfangs has gone through the enormous time and expense to make sure that your lenses are among the safest and most comfortable theatrical contact lenses in the world!

Q I have dark eyes, will these work well?
A YES! These lenses are different then the colored lenses you can get on the market. They are PRINTED, not tinted. So regardless of your natural eye color these lenses will show bright and vibrant color.
Q Is this price per lens? Or for the pair?
A Always by the PAIR! Some companies lure customers in with low prices, only to find it's per lens! You'll find no such trickery here!
Q How old do you have to be to buy these lenses?
A 18. No exceptions. AND you should always consult your eye care professional when ordering lenses. Especially if you have never worn contacts before. Federal Law requires that we consult with your eye care professional before we can ship your FX lenses.
Q Can I get these lenses in my prescription?
A YES!
YES! Some FX lenses are now available in prescription. You
will need to visit our prescription lens section of our website. When ordering
prescription lenses you will need to know all of your eye doctors information as
we will need to contact them to verify your prescription and to obtain
authorization. Prescription lenses will not be shipped without doctor approval.
Prescription lenses normally take about a week to ship as we do not stock RX
lenses.
Q Do the lenses come in ALL prescriptions?
A NO! We do not carry specialty lenses! Immortal lenses range from -6 only! If you have astigmatism or have special vision needs, these lenses are NOT for you.
WARNING! Under no circumstances do not share your Contact Lenses with family or friends. Contact lenses, even if worn for fun or cosmetic reasons, are precision medical devices and should only be worn under the supervision of your eye care professional. We HIGHLY recommend that you consult with your eye care professional before using ANY cosmetic contact lens. Sharing contact lenses with family and friends can spread micro-organisms which may result in very serious eye problems. The lenses are NOT made for overnight wear.
